What You Will Be Doing

Candidate should have extensive experience working for a self-performing heavy civil contractor on design build highway and bridge projects. Company projects size ranges from 1-200M.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring full compliance with federal regulations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, setting timelines, and allocating resources effectively.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project alignment and success.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies as needed.
• Prepare and present detailed project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in construction management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, required.
• Minimum of ten years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in DOT projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and results-focused.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• A self-starter and team player.

Project Manager will be assigned to a multi-phase, multi-year project 30M-50M.
