Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of heavy civil construction projects, including road improvement and heavy highway construction.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Review and approve construction documents, drawings, and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and submit pay applications, submittals, and other necessary documentation to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other construction software to support project planning and design activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil project management or construction management.
- Strong understanding of heavy highway construction and road improvement techniques.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and construction management software.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and project scheduling abilities.
- Fluency in a second language is a plus, as it will aid in communication with diverse teams.
- Experience with subcontractor agreements and coordination.
- Knowledge of construction documents, request for information (RFI) processes, and invoice review and approval.

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
