Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems and HVAC controls. This role is critical in ensuring that our clients' systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure building automation and HVAC control systems
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems
- Respond to service calls and perform repairs on-site
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate controls into new buildings
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Provide technical support and training to clients as needed
- Proven experience as a Technician in HVAC or building automation systems
- Strong knowledge of control systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
