We have multiple roles open for a Maintenance Technician skillset, both on a DAY/First shift, and on an OVERNIGHT/3rd shift with our manufacturing facility located just outside of the Hagerstown, MD area.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment within the facility, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.

We are offering an hourly rate, commensurate to the experience brought to the role, anywhere in the 27.00 to 33.00 per hour range, depending on the shift worked, and maybe a bit more for an out of this world fit candidate, along with a full benefit offering, including:

Shifts Available
- First/Day shift - starting in the 5am-7am window: Approx 10hr shift
- Overnight/3rd Shift - Starting in the 4/5pm timeframe: Approx 11-12hr shift ( Shift Differential Avail)
On a daily basis, your role will include the following tasks:
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance work and manage inventory.
- A BIG PLUS would be experience/ability to repair and maintain automated equipment, including PLCs and electrical controls.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct boiler and motor repair as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to determine maintenance needs and schedule repairs accordingly.
- Document all maintenance activities and report on work completed and outstanding issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair techniques.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS systems.
- Familiarity with industrial repair techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
