Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Intake Attorney to join our legal team. The Intake Attorney will be responsible for managing incoming client inquiries, assessing potential cases, and providing legal guidance to clients. This role is crucial in ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support, and it will involve case management and collaboration with other legal professionals within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client consultations to assess legal needs and determine eligibility for services.
• Manage case documentation and ensure all necessary information is collected for potential cases.
• Provide litigation support by preparing legal documents and assisting in case strategy development.
• Review and analyze documents related to potential cases and advise clients accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about case status and developments.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients where appropriate.
• Engage in legal writing to prepare motions, briefs, and other important documents for cases.
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Employ problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues and provide sound advice to clients.
• Possess knowledge and experience in Lemon Law to effectively represent clients facing related legal challenges.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Lemon law experience preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience in client consultation and case management.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and legal procedures.
• Excellent document review and legal writing capabilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive client relationships.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and strategically.
