We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance and safety in all electrical work performed.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues for various systems and equipment.
- Conduct circuit testing to ensure proper functionality and safety of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Install and maintain high and low voltage systems including motors, PLCs, and lighting controls.
- Ensure safety regulations and code compliance in all electrical work conducted.
- Use conduit bending techniques for electrical installations as required.
- Conduct electrical inspections to identify and address potential issues or code violations.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience working as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in wiring, circuit testing, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of high and low voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with motor control systems and PLCs is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
