Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring that all machinery and systems are in optimal working condition. You will lead a team of technicians, prioritize maintenance tasks, and provide support for production operations. The ideal candidate will have advanced troubleshooting skills and a strong leadership presence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Perform complex repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate emergency repairs and breakdown resolutions to maintain production timelines.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machinery performance and address any operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance practices, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in maintenance, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluid Power education/certifications highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
