The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality molds for injection molding, ensuring efficiency and precision in production. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to guide a team of mold makers and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mold making team in the design and fabrication of new injection molds.
- Develop and implement mold building processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to create innovative mold designs.
- Utilize Tool & Die Design principles to produce high-quality molds.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on molds to maintain quality standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior mold makers in best practices and techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to mold design and production.
- Prepare accurate documentation and reports related to mold making projects.
- Proven experience as a Mold Maker with a strong background in mold building and injection molds.
- Expertise in Tool & Die Design and related techniques.
- Strong understanding of mold design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with CNC Machining and its application in mold making is a plus.
- Experience with CAD Software for mold design is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
