We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive civil litigation Legal Assistant for the firm's Dallas office. Duties and responsibilities include managing the calendars of multiple attorneys, preparing hearing and trial notebooks, handling incoming correspondence, drafting and proofreading documents, and complex litigation e-filings in state and federal courts. A general working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and state and federal e-filing experience required, and knowledge of appellate procedure is preferred.
The ideal candidate for this position has a minimum of three years of litigation experience, strong organizational skills, advanced computer skills, ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks, professional, works well under pressure and fosters an atmosphere of teamwork, cooperation, high integrity and exceptional ethics.
