The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, particularly in real estate matters, and will be responsible for representing clients in court and providing expert legal advice. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases in court
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Negotiate settlements and mediations on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in real estate and other civil matters
- Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals in case preparation
- Maintain accurate records and case files
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and real estate law
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
