Job Title : NPI Engineer

Location: Eastlake, OH on-site

Salary: $85k-$102k DOE

Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Equivalent experience and/or certifications will be considered) 5 yeears experience in Manufacturing and CNC Machining/Programming, MasterCAM, ERP/MRP systems

Position Overview

The NPI Engineer plays a crucial role in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing process. This position focuses on ensuring that new product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet engineering standards.
• Perform CNC programming and machine setups for new product introductions.
• Identify and implement manufacturing processes that enhance efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines.
• Conduct risk identification and troubleshooting during the product launch phase.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support quality assurance efforts by adhering to coating standards and mechanical component specifications.
• Utilize Master Cam and SolidWorks for design and production fixture development.
• Manage the supply chain aspects of new product launches to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Equivalent experience and/or certifications will be considered)
• 5 years exp in engineering, manufacturing, and CNC programming.
• MasterCAM
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
• Project Management
• Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
