EHS/HSE Manager

The EHS/HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership in driving safety initiatives and fostering a culture of safety within the organization, particularly in manufacturing and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and assess risk.
• Lead environmental compliance efforts, including waste management and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Provide safety training and environmental training to employees to enhance their understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with management to promote health and safety leadership and initiatives across all levels of the organization.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring thorough documentation and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain records and reports related to EHS activities, inspections, training, and compliance violations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in EHS/HSE management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management practices.
• Experience with environmental compliance and related training programs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus.
