Job Summary
The National Project Manager will oversee asphalt paving, maintenance, and repair projects across various locations. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee national asphalt projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collect and review all project documentation, including reports and photos.
- Manage, approve, and process change order requests.
- Approve invoice amounts and manage project financials.
- Regularly communicate with subcontractors, onsite superintendents, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Update the CRM system with accurate project data.
- Gather and create close-out packages for completed projects.
- Encourage and implement process improvements to streamline project management
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with CRM databases and online portals.
- High sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
2 years of construction project management, particularly in asphalt paving, experience is highly desirable.
