Network Manager

Located: Bonita Springs, FL

Position Overview

The Network Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves managing network operations, leading a team of network engineers, and collaborating with other IT departments to support the organization's technology needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support on technical issues.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage VoIP solutions and IP telephony systems to improve communication within the organization.
• Oversee the design and deployment of network solutions in data centers and cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and OCI.
• Ensure network security protocols are in place and regularly updated to protect against threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network management and administration, with a focus on wireless networks and VoIP technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and network security best practices.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and network infrastructure management tools.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network , or equivalent are preferred.
