Position Overview
The Not for Profit Audit Manager will oversee audit projects for various non-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulations. This role focuses on delivering high-quality audit services while providing valuable insights to our clients, enhancing their financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements for non-profit organizations
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for non-profit entities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored audit services
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
- Develop audit plans and risk assessments
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting nonprofits
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audits
- Strong knowledge of financial statement audit and compliance regulations
- Experience working with non-profit organizations and government contracting
- Proficiency in CCH Engagement and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and maintain flexibility
- Authorization to work in the US

Salary : $125,000 - $165,000
