Position Overview

The Onsite Project Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing and managing construction projects focused on multifamily and affordable housing developments. This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with the General Contractor and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management regarding timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors.
• Identify potential issues early and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in construction project engineering, preferably in multifamily or affordable housing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies, particularly in ground-up construction.
• Experience working with General Contractors and managing subcontractors effectively.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
