This position is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with the General Contractor and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management regarding timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Identify potential issues early and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in construction project engineering, preferably in multifamily or affordable housing projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies, particularly in ground-up construction.
- Experience working with General Contractors and managing subcontractors effectively.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
