We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal specializing in Family Law to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and providing administrative support in family law cases including divorce, child custody, and child support matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Manage and organize case files and documentation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in family law cases
- File documents with the court and ensure compliance with legal procedures
- Assist in trial preparation and strategy development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Paralegal certification is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal, preferably in Family Law
- Strong understanding of family law principles and legal terminology
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively
