As a Transactional Real Estate Paralegal, you will be responsible for title and survey review and analysis, showcasing your in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate transactions.
Essential Duties
- Conduct title and survey review and analysis for commercial real estate loans, including Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac transactions.
- Maintain current knowledge of commercial real estate lending guidelines.
- Monitor and meet loan closing deadlines.
- Perform paralegal duties in compliance with ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate within practice groups and across firm offices for efficient legal service delivery.
- Utilize the firm's document management system for maintaining official files.
- Track and record client-billable and nonbillable hours daily, meeting minimum billable hour requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail and professionalism in all aspects.
- Proven ability to follow complex instructions and provide quality service to internal and external clients.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, specifically title and survey.
- Experience with ALTA/NSPS standards and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac transactions preferred.
- Background in law firms or title companies is a plus.
