The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury cases, ensuring their rights are protected and that they receive the compensation they deserve. The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of personal injury law and a commitment to advocating for clients' best interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in personal injury cases, including negotiation and litigation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Provide clients with legal advice and support throughout the legal process.
- Gather and analyze evidence, including medical records and witness statements, to build strong cases.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients.
- Keep clients informed about case progress and answer any questions they may have.
- Attend court hearings and depositions as needed.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
- Proven experience in personal injury law, preferably representing plaintiffs.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
