Key Responsibilities
- Conducting case analysis and research to support legal proceedings
- Assisting with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files and documents
- Drafting and filing legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Communicating with clients to gather information and provide case updates
- Preparing for and attending depositions and trials
- Coordinating with outside vendors, experts, and other parties involved in the litigation process
- Managing and organizing trial exhibits and evidence
- Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling and maintaining calendars
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
- Experience in personal injury law
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Attention to detail and strong research skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
