Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings, ensuring that all documents are drafted accurately and submitted promptly. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in case management and support, particularly in areas of federal and state civil procedures, as well as personal injury litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information to support ongoing litigation.
• Manage case files and documentation, ensuring all materials are organized and up-to-date.
• Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents in federal and state courts, including multi-district litigation (MDL).
• Coordinate and prepare for depositions, trials, and mediations, including organizing exhibits and evidence.
• Analyze and summarize legal documents and case law to provide lawyers with relevant information.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred
• Paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm, focusing on personal injury and civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state civil procedures, as well as experience with multi-district litigation (MDL).
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals.
