Plant Controller

Position Overview

The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the manufacturing plant. This role involves managing cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Plant Controller plays a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and profitability through effective financial management and analysis. This position will report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the plant's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
• Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to measure product costs and inventory valuation.
• Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, conducting audits as necessary.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making at the plant level.
• Collaborate with corporate finance teams on financial planning and reporting initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is highly desirable.
• 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
