The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the manufacturing plant. The Plant Controller plays a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and profitability through effective financial management and analysis. This position will report directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the plant's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
- Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to measure product costs and inventory valuation.
- Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, conducting audits as necessary.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making at the plant level.
- Collaborate with corporate finance teams on financial planning and reporting initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is highly desirable.
- 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Salary : $100,000 - $145,000
