Title: Manufacturing Manager - Paper, Pulp, Packaging, Process Engineering

Location: Macon, GA - On-Site

Salary: $120,000-$150,000/Year Depending on experience

Requirements: Must have at least 5 Years of High-Speed, Paper Manufacturing Leadership experience, Packaging, Boilers, Wastewater treatment, KPI, ISO, Lean/Six-Sigma, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering background

What You Will Be Doing

• Utilize six sigma and lean processes to implement process improvement projects to optimize equipment and reduce downtime.
• Sponsor employee ownership with supervisors and operators to assure the entire team is working to achieve the department objectives.
• Provide leadership with the implementation of problem-solving strategies and execution of key performance objectives in the production for the Power and Recovery area.
• Manage department training, schedule, and operator qualification process. Update training materials as needed and schedule 3rd party training as needed.
• Enter and update reliability events into the reliability database - work with engineering team to complete RCFA's and enter action items.
• Create and manage the annual outage operational schedule - including lockouts and operational activities.
• Create, implement, and monitor local KPI's for department.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred - Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
• 5 years in Paper, Pulp or Packaging plant management
• ISO experience
• Lean/Six-Sigma belt strongly preferred, process implementations, Safety standards
• High-Volume production oversight
• Budget/P&L responsibility
• Ability to relocate or commute to Macon, GA location
