What You'll Do
- Design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and control process parameters to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and troubleshoot issues.
- Review and assess process data to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Provide technical support to operations, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Lead or assist in projects aimed at improving process performance and reducing costs.
- Document and report process changes, improvements, and performance metrics.
- If applicable, mentor and guide less-experienced engineers and team members.
- 7 years of experience in process or production engineering, ideally in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Ethylene, VCM, or CA processes is preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of leadership experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good personality that fosters a positive work environment.
