Job Title: Project Architect

Location: Orange county

Company Overview: We are a national architecture-design firm with 11 studios across the country, specializing in a wide range of projects. Our Orange County studio is growing, and we are seeking a talented Lead Project Architect proficient in Revit to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary: The Lead Project Architect will be responsible for leading the design and development of architectural projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and project goals. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes, construction processes, and proficiency in Revit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with design intent.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Registered Architect (RA) or on the path to licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficient in Revit (a must!), AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative and functional design solutions. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of project types and scales.
• Experience managing projects from concept through completion. Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to clients and team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Leadership experience is a plus.
• Ability to identify and resolve design and construction challenges efficiently.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
