Project Manager - GC Industrial / Heavy Commercial

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our General Contracting Industrial and Heavy Commercial division. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate various industrial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
• Oversee project budgeting, estimating, and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for project management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Handle change orders and document control, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Prepare and review submittals, shop drawings, and project closeout documentation.
• Utilize project management software (e.g., Sage 300, Procore, Prolog) to track project progress and reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in project management within industrial or heavy commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of general contracting processes and construction management principles.
• Proficient in project management software, including Sage 300, Procore, and Prolog.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• In-depth understanding of budgeting, estimating, and project control methodologies.
• Familiarity with design/build processes and commercial construction standards.
