Project Manager (HEAVY CIVIL)

With over 70 years of service, beginning as a small driveway paving company, we have developed into a well-known heavy-civil leading provider in the greater northern california and central valley areas.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil projects to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Heavy Civil construction projects, including roads, streets, bridges, and infrastructure developments.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion and adherence to financial constraints.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, outlining progress, challenges, and resolutions.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to foster collaboration and resolve issues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in project management within Heavy Civil construction.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects including widening roads, asphalt overlays, and street construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
