Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage financial activities related to our commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role is crucial in providing financial insights that support our business strategy and operations in the retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records for multiple commercial properties including retail, industrial, and office spaces.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of data in the accounting system.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes for property-related transactions.
• Analyze financial performance of properties and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with property managers to ensure financial compliance and operational efficiency.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for property management.
• Utilize accounting software such as Yardi or MRI for reporting and analysis.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1 years of proven experience as a Property Accountant within the commercial real estate industry.
• Prior accounting experience with retail properties.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in commercial real estate.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Yardi or MRI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
