Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing and procurement
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and maintenance requirements
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
