Quality Control Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment

Job Title: QC Manager

Location: Oakland, CA

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

My client is a leading contractor based in Oakland, who has an opening for a Project Manager. They specialize in industrial construction, wastewater facilities, HVAC, metal fabrication, and more. Responsibilities

• Monitor work performed as well as materials and equipment and ensure it is up to the requirements of the contracted documents.
• Perform inspections daily to ensure compliance and quality of work performed.
• Submit QC checklists, sign-off sheets, and other documentation as required.
• Work with the testing/inspection agencies, keeping them up to date on samples, work, and anything else required.
• Coordinate MMC inspections, to achieved passed inspections before the completion date.
• Document all inspection and testing operations, as well as manufacturer reviews.
• Submit daily reports confirming requirements of relevant specification section, including QC activities conducted that day.
• Report to MMC team if work is not conforming.
• Take action to ensure conformance with requirements of contract documents, including immediately stopping work if necessary.
• Advise on remove of personnel that consistently fails to perform properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You Need

• Bachelors degree Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Extensive experience managing industrial mechanical projects, including waste water facilities.
• Ability to review specifications, and plans, schedule work, and compute costs.
• Ability to establish relations with managers, co workers, vendors, and other involved parties.
