Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the quality engineering team to ensure that manufacturing processes and products meet the required standards of quality and reliability. This role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, overseeing quality assurance activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality management system to ensure effective quality assurance practices are followed.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
- Oversee supplier quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage reliability testing and validation processes to ensure product performance.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to ISO 9001 and AS9000 standards.
- Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate quality management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 6 years proven experience as Quality Engineering/Assurance, with managerial experience preferred.
- Preferred: ASQC CQM certification or five-plus years of progressive quality engineering experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience in precision inspection and production quality control.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools (Lean, 6S, root cause analysis, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
