Position Overview
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is essential for maintaining product integrity and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate quality control activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve quality issues and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
- Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
- Implement and monitor statistical process control techniques to identify trends and facilitate proactive quality improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes and ensure proper record-keeping as per regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive process improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, ISO standards, and compliance regulations.
- Proven experience in auditing, documentation, and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with process improvement tools such as Six Sigma and root cause analysis techniques.
