Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and revising due diligence checklists.
- Conducting comprehensive title and survey reviews, drafting synopses, and creating objection letters.
- Drafting and reviewing real estate transaction documents such as leases, loan documents, deeds, and related conveyance documents.
- Drafting and reviewing organizational documents.
- Conducting UCC judgment and lien searches and providing clear, concise summaries.
- Collaborating with clients and business partners to facilitate due diligence, closings, and funding.
- Organizing, distributing, and compiling signature pages for real estate closings.
- Handling electronic and paper recordings of essential documents.
- Managing the preparation and distribution of closing binders and other post-closing deliverables.
- Supporting attorneys and undertaking additional responsibilities as needed to meet the firm's goals.
- 4 years of experience as a Paralegal with Real Estate experience; Commercial Real Estate experience is highly desired
- ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate is highly desired
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and revising real estate transaction documents, including leases and loan documents, deed and related conveyance documents.
- Survey and Title experience is highly desired
