The Real Estate Paralegal will assist attorneys in various aspects of real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with legal standards and facilitating smooth property transactions. This role involves conducting legal research, preparing documents, and communicating effectively with clients to support the legal team in providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research related to real estate matters
- Perform title searches to verify property ownership and identify any encumbrances
- Prepare legal documents including contracts, leases, and closing statements
- Review real estate contracts and agreements for accuracy and compliance
- Assist in conducting due diligence for property transactions
- Support attorneys in closing procedures and ensure all necessary documents are completed
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
- Maintain organized case files and manage case documentation efficiently
- Ensure compliance with land use regulations and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in notarization of documents when necessary
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or similar role
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Proficient in document preparation and contract review
- Experience with property transactions and closing procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal teams
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with land use regulations and regulatory compliance
