Position Overview

What You'll Do
- Oversee daily construction activities and manage on-site operations.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and project managers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess project progress and quality of work.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and schedules.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and provide engineering support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or resident engineering.
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) regulations and standards.
- Strong project management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
