Sales Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration systems to drive sales and provide excellent customer service. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales acumen to meet customer needs and enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product specifications meet client requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend appropriate HVAC and refrigeration solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and contracts for clients.
  • Provide ongoing support for clients post-sale, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive products to effectively promote our offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a related sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, piping, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer-friendly terms.
  • Experience working with mechanical contractors and building automation systems (BAS) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
