Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including highways, bridges, and public works.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to determine project requirements and scope.
- Utilize HCSS software for efficient estimation processes and cost management.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project constraints and requirements.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential project challenges.
- Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for future reference and benchmarking.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
- 5 years heavy civil experience
- 3 years heavy civil estimating experience
- Bridge experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in using HCSS software and other estimation tools.

Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
