Key Responsibilities
- Review project blueprints and specifications to understand scope of work
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for drywall projects
- Utilize estimation software such as On Screen Takeoff and QuickBid
- Collaborate with subcontractors to gather pricing information
- Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and present estimates to project managers and clients
- Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation
- Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in drywall installation
- 4 years of experience as a drywall estimator for commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation processes and materials
- Proficiency in estimation software, particularly On Screen Takeoff and QuickBid
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
