Title: Senior EHS Manager

Location: Carrolton, GA **We can offer a relocation package**

Salary: $130,000-$140,000/year

Position Overview

The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe workplace. This role will involve managing risk assessments, safety training, and environmental initiatives to minimize hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead training programs for employees on EHS practices and regulations.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies regarding compliance and reporting requirements.
• Manage hazardous waste and materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• This role will have 2 direct reports
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards, including EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus.
