Job Title : Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist

Employment Type : Full Time Job Summary : The Senior EHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and program management at a Level 1 facility. This role provides regulatory expertise, implements EHS initiatives, and monitors facility activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards. The ideal candidate will drive proactive improvements, foster a culture of safety, and support the site's EHS management processes. Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze data to identify opportunities for proactive safety and environmental improvements.
• Lead the implementation and sustainability of EHS compliance programs and management processes (ISO, OHSAS, VPP).
• Develop and deploy processes to identify, evaluate, and control workplace hazards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct and lead EHS investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development for incidents, near misses, and regulatory concerns.
• Manage regulatory recordkeeping, reporting, and case management for the facility.
• Develop, track, and deliver EHS training for employees and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EHS within the facility.
• Oversee compliance for air, water, and waste management, including DOT regulations.
• Ensure alignment with company-wide EHS policies and procedures.
• Serve as the Emergency Response Coordinator, assisting with emergency response coordination and contractor management. This position requires on-call availability 24 / 7.
