The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock mechanics, and providing expert recommendations for various civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments for civil engineering projects.
- Analyze soil and rock mechanics to provide recommendations for foundation designs and earth retention systems.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
- Review and supervise the work of junior engineers and geotechnical technicians.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods and analysis techniques.
- Experience in preparing geotechnical reports and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
