Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney specializing in Construction Defense to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction defect litigation and will be responsible for representing clients in complex legal disputes involving construction-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a caseload of construction defect litigation cases from inception through trial.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and develop compelling legal arguments.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials, advocating for their interests effectively.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation.
- Stay current on changes in construction law and related regulations to provide informed legal guidance.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in the best interest of clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Barred in CA.
- 5 years of civil litigation experience.
- Construction litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, laws, and regulations.
- Proven trial experience with a track record of successful outcomes in litigation cases.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, judges, and other legal professionals.
