Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage all phases of construction projects within the multifamily and senior living sectors. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. The Senior PM will act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, leading project teams and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project activities from inception to completion.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, and manage project budget.
- Monitor and track project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed, and devise solutions to mitigate risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and key stakeholders.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction or real estate sectors.
- Minimum of 3 large multifamily ground-up projects completed from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
