Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial operations of our construction and real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking within Procore and Textura.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain and update accounting systems, including Sage and Sage 300, to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in staff accounting, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Sage and Sage 300.
- Experience with project management tools such as Procore and Textura is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
