What You Will Be Doing: As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our operations. Your expertise in the commercial roofing process will be crucial as you enhance our bidding procedures and introduce innovative methodologies to streamline our business. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine accurate and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure project alignment and success.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Utilize Edge Estimating Software to create detailed and precise estimates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our processes.
- At least 5 years of experience in roofing estimating experience.
- Proficiency with TPO, EPDM, PVC, Built-up, Bitumen, and Sheet Metal roofing systems.
- Strong understanding of complex contracts, RFPs, and proposals.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in project scheduling and management.
- Familiarity with Edge Estimating Software.
