We are seeking a skilled SQL Server DBA / SQL Developer to manage our database systems and support our development team. This role involves ensuring the performance, security, and availability of our SQL Server databases while also contributing to development projects and data analysis using various BI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss.
- Design and improve database structures, ensuring data integrity and security management.
- Create and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work with Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports for data visualization.
- Support disaster recovery implementation and testing of database systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Participate in performance tuning and query optimization to enhance application performance.
- Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA and SQL Developer, with a strong understanding of database administration and development.
- Expertise in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with C# programming and application development.
- Experience in disaster recovery implementation and testing.
- Knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with additional tools and languages such as Python, ASP.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, PowerShell is a plus.
