We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. ERP Accountant to join our finance team. This role is essential in optimizing our ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and experience with financial analysis, month-end close processes, and familiarity with Epicor ERP system in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the financial activities related to the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate inventory accounting and valuation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and finance staff on ERP-related queries.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting and ERP workflows.
- Assist in audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and reports are accurate and readily available.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with Epicor ERP system is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
