What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Accountant position at Latitude Inc?
This position will primarily be responsible for the accounting of specific financial activity according to generally accepted accounting principles and the monthly closing process. The position will assist the Accounting Managers in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, as well as the financial reporting systems and processes.
\n- Review account reconciliations and analysis
- Prepare more complex account reconciliations and analysis
- Perform research to comply with departmental monthly performance requests
- Assist with special projects and provide support to the accounting managers
- Collect and analyze data to report on the organizational progress relative to our established targets.
- Review GL entries required to record the activities of the various business units
- Prepare complex GL entries required to record the activities of the various business units
- Assist with the monthly financial close process
- Bachelor’s degree in business field required – Finance/Economics/Accounting
- Healthcare accounting experience
- 4-7 years of experience working in a Finance related role
- Qualified candidate will be highly analytical, a critical thinker, intellectually curious, and bring financial clarity to all business partners
- Ability to digest financial information, render judgment, create context, and recognize patterns
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and manage conflicting priorities
$75,000 - $80,000 a year
