We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Senior to join our team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business returns and tax preparation, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our clients. This role involves overseeing the tax preparation process, conducting tax reviews, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review business tax returns for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough tax reviews to ensure all filings are correct and complete.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
- Assist in the training and development of junior tax staff and interns.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in tax preparation with Individual and business returns.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CPA or CPA eligibility is preferred.
- Experience with individual tax returns is a plus.
