We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance and consulting projects for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a strong understanding of various tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax planning services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, focusing on international tax matters.
- Conduct research on various tax issues and provide guidance based on current tax laws.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Utilize tax software such as Ultra Tax and Pro Systems for efficient tax return processing.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Active CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and consulting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations.
- Experience with tax software, including Ultra Tax and Pro Systems, is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
